Toni Hurford
Toni Hurford is an emerging poet in middle age. A trans person, her themes include gender and mental health but also the whole universe out there and whatever catches her attention. Toni began writing poetry in 2004 during her MA in Counselling. Perhaps it’s heuristic research gone wild. She was mentored by Dr Simon Jenner of Survivors’ Poetry to produce a pamphlet that became a book, A Staff of Asklepios, as yet unpublished.
