Any Time I Tweet Like An Angry Trans Person

In case it wasn’t clear / I am an angry trans person / I hate that I have to say this

I just hope this is all worth it: // constant stress and grief and anger / [being] tokenized / existing / unhinged trauma thoughts / [being] constantly misgendered / correcting people / the world / my existence invalidated / unsafe / deadname / blatant disrespect / so attacked / impending homophobia / [being] fetish[ized] // [being]

I am an angry trans person / the scenario in the DEI workshop is: // actually something / someone did / tiring and kinda offensive / my own experiences / so funny // (not really)

I don’t think I ever / imagined as a teenager / I’d be (not a girl) / writing more / My entire life / a publicity stunt / love being nonbinary / explicitly trans // I am / however / happy / but mostly when I choose // Not when it’s convenient / to you

the speaker of all my poems: // (not a girl) / petty and unprofessional / queer Latinx person / whether or not you like it / the only one who finds / cis people unfunny / nonbinary?? Lol / if you know / no you don’t / a queer Mexican / the reason people were voting for tr*mp

I’m rambling but / I am an angry trans person / Please stop asking / I feel much more myself / than I did / even two years ago
