I apologized for bleeding on the interior. Before he ate me, he bent me over a sink and cut my throat. I asked him, “Do I taste good?” I bet I tasted like force-fed bread dipped in wine — Thank you, Father. Amen — But I tasted only metal, my reflection. I remember being bathed in something like this.
