Can A Flower Truly Sing…….

                    i

I declare benevolence for any out there that can rid

me of my inhibitions.... / I shout to the world

to find me one to bring forth the kind of mitigation

I am rightfully owed.../ like a hummingbird I will rhythmically

call out for someone to sweep me off my feet and make me

fly like a tree swift...../ And when this is said and done I want to

find out if this ‘flower’ can truly sing.........

                     ii

My never ending search for a doting paramour is at the

point  of obsession ...../They say there is  danger in a loneliness

buried deep in the  confines of the heart..... /There is peril in

a lily  that lacks an inamorata to make it bloom in purity  / With

this lack of endearment I  question the world.....Do “florets”

ever sing!!??.........

                 iii

My days as a seductress lessen with each fading African sunset..... /

The stigma in my pistil slowly withers away before I can find an

anther to delight me with my vouchsafed fertility .../ I am at the

Point where fastidiousness is an unwanted pleasure.... /  And the

ever vexing enigma still continues to burden  my soul .......

Will this ‘flower' ever sing!!??..............
