Olney Magazine reserves one-time, archival, and promotional publishing rights to contributors’ accepted content. One-time publishing rights include all mediums (electronic, print, etc.) as applicable. Archival publishing rights allow content to remain on www.OlneyMagazine.com as long as the site is in operation. 

Olney Magazine does not reserve exclusive rights — authors maintain ownership of their content and may seek subsequent publication elsewhere. 

Olney Magazine runs all written content through plagiarism software before final publication. If any published material is reported as plagiarized, the content in question will be investigated, and, if found to be fraudulent, removed and the offender permanently banned from Olney. 

By submitting your work, you grant Olney Magazine first North American print and electronic publication rights and guarantee that the submission is your own. All rights return to the author after publication.

If you publish your work again at a later date, we request that you include a notice of the first publication appearing in Olney Magazine.
