Peace By Piece
That on the shore where I had left myself, in ruin because I doubt myself
I pick
Before life passes me by and I buy into regret because I let myself be buried by mistakes
I pick
Until water flows no more from my eyes and then joy comes to make me cry and I repent from my limiting lies
I pick
For when comes the time and the clock chimes, I want to raise my head high knowing that I fought and slayed the demon of pride
Little by little, I pick up all the pieces of my life and mold my heaven
Until I own my peace
I pick
